Google is so geeky, it's cool
In a filing with the SEC, Google has said it plans to release 14,159,265 stocks That's close to 14.2 million for the numerically challenged.
The number is mondo geeky because it is representative of the first eight digits after the decimal point in pi (3.14159265). In my books, that is way cool!

In its first IPO Google raised USD $2,718,281,828 (remember exponent e=2.71828...). Towards this Google floated 14,142,135 shares (sqrt(2)). Who could have thunk?
